SBCA Innovation Grant
In an effort to cultivate innovation in the structural building components and framing industry, the Structural Building Components Association (SBCA) created the SBCA Innovation Grant in 2023. Each grant is awarded to a company or individual with an innovative product, tool, service, machine, idea, etc., that advances the building component industry. Once selected for a grant, recipient(s) will have the opportunity to showcase their submitted solution at BCMC 2024. Attendees will then voice their opinions with People’s Choice voting at BCMC. The People’s Choice winner(s) will be announced on Thursday, October 10th, at the conclusion of the show and will be promoted by SBCA throughout the following year.

The SBCA Innovation Grant recipient(s) will receive up to:
- One 10 x 10 booth= 100 sf VALUED AT $3,290
- Three exhibit passes for the entirety of BCMC VALUED AT $1,890
- The chance to be named the SBCA’s People’s Choice Solution for 2024, publicity in SBCA Magazine’s January/February issue, and a feature in SBCA’s Industry News.

What is SBCA?
Established in 1983, the Structural Building Components Association (SBCA) is the only international trade association representing manufacturers of structural building components (roof trusses, wall panels, and floor trusses.) Its membership also includes truss plate suppliers, framers, original equipment manufacturers and resellers, computer software companies, lumber suppliers, builders, and professional individuals in the fields of engineering, marketing, and management.
What is BCMC?
Since its inception in 1980, the objective of SBCA’s Building Component Manufacturers Conference (BCMC) has been to educate, inform and encourage the growth of structural building component manufacturing. It has become the trusted venue for component manufacturers to learn about the latest ideas, equipment, products, and trends throughout their entire supply chain. This annual tradeshow includes a dynamic exhibit floor with machinery demonstrations, educational opportunities, and the chance to enjoy the camaraderie of an industry that spans generations.
