“The National Framers Council’s annual golf tournament was a fantastic event,” says Gene Frogale, owner of Annandale Millwork & Allied Systems. “There were framers from all over the country and it was a wonderful networking opportunity.”

The event kicked off with an evening dinner with almost 60 framers, component manufacturers, general contractors, and builders. In addition to a presentation on the mission of the new SBCA Foundation & Endowment, attendees learned more about a new trade education-focused education organization called COR Construction Training Academy. To learn more about this initiative, watch this video:

“It is so amazing to see what SBCA and NFC are working to accomplish with the SBCA Foundation,” says Gene. “I really enjoyed learning about Cor Construction and their mission to reach youth through carpentry education. Events like these will help the foundation accomplish its mission.”

In misty conditions the next morning, 111 golfers hit the links at the Turf Valley Resort for a day of relationship building and friendly competition. Congratulation to Chip Setzer with Coppice Commodities for winning the putting contest and to Gene Frogale, Lewis Lee, Edilberto Vasquez and Jesus Amaya for winning the tournament by shooting -16 for the day.

Thank you to all the sponsors who made this event possible:
