Shannon Ambelang

This week’s SBCA Staff Spotlight features Shannon Ambelang, SBCA’s Software Support Specialist. Shannon has been with SBCA since January 2024; she works with the Digital QC software where she identifies and troubleshoots solutions to technical issues and ensures that users have the support they need through the onboarding process and beyond. She is instrumental in the success and progress of this SBCA member-benefit.  

With Shannon’s diverse background in customer service and over 20 years of experience in helping people, her technical education, and her passion for software support, she is a great asset to the SBCA team. Shannon is a proactive problem-solver, loves a good challenge, and really enjoys walking people through the process, ensuring excellent support and service.  

As a key player from the start of this Digital QC effort, Molly Butz has worked closely with the Software Support Specialist. “Shannon has been doing a great job and has really come into her own with this role,” says Molly Butz, SBCA’s Managing Director. “Her apt for technology and customer service combined with her passion for helping others is what makes her thrive as our Software Support Specialist.” 

Shannon is a life-long resident of Wisconsin, currently residing in Eau Claire. In Shannon’s free time, she volunteers at her local Humane Society and Community Table. Interestingly, Shannon has been a beekeeper for six years and is currently getting ready for the busy [bee] spring season; with her bees, she likes to make beeswax products, as well. She enjoys being outdoors, where she discovers new hiking trails and goes mushroom hunting. Shannon can be reached at
