Big C Lumber has established a strong outreach program to local educational institutions around their facilities. Below is a video of a recent tour. In posting this video to social media, Big C Lumber states:
“Shawnee Roy and Dallas Austin, from our Structural Building Components Facility in Dowagiac, excellently guided plant tours for the Van Buren Tech Center Construction Trades Program.
The program consists of both juniors and seniors from 15 local high schools, participating in both on-site and off-site programs. During their visit to our facility, they gained insights into various machine functionalities and the intricate processes involved in truss manufacturing.”
