2026 Dues Letter from the NFC President

Dear NFC Member,

One of the things that stands out most about the National Framers Council is the people.
This is a group of framers who are willing to take a call, share what’s working, and talk through challenges without hesitation. That willingness to help each other is what makes NFC valuable, and it’s something you do not find just anywhere.

Thank you for being part of that.

Your continued support of this national association helps us develop and share essential resources to the structural framing industry and the entire construction supply chain.

As we look ahead, we invite you to renew your NFC membership for the coming year and continue your investment in these shared efforts to improve jobsite safety, elevate the professionalism of the framing industry, and strengthen the connections that help framing contractors grow and succeed.

Your continued involvement, whether it is showing up to events, participating in conversations, or simply being willing to share your experience, plays a role in strengthening this network and moving the industry forward.

NFC also continues to expand the ways members stay informed and connected to the industry. Through Framing News and Framing Today magazine, members have access to insights, practical tips, and real-world perspectives from other framers. This content is for framers, by framers, and is designed to provide useful information that can be applied directly to your business, whether the office or the jobsite, and your crews.

That connection shows up in real ways. It is the conversations at the Framer Summit at BCMC and Open Quarterly Meetings (OQMs), the relationships built over time, and the ability to reach out to someone who understands exactly what you are dealing with. It is also seen in events like the annual NFC Golf Tournament, where members come together to build relationships and support the industry.

Safety is another area where NFC continues to make an impact. With the release of FrameSAFE 5.0 this past year, we have expanded one of the industry’s most trusted safety programs, adding new resources and making it even more practical for today’s jobsites. FrameSAFE is now available for FREE for NFC members, providing access to manuals, toolbox talks, and safety materials that help create consistency and support safe, professional jobsites.

NFC also supports broader industry safety initiatives, including OSHA’s Safe + Sound Week and the National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls, reinforcing the importance of ongoing training and awareness across the industry.

The strength of NFC lies in the collective engagement of its members. As we continue working to elevate the profession and promote consistent framing practices, expanding this network remains essential. You understand the value of membership, and by encouraging others to get involved, you help strengthen the industry as a whole.

NFC is focused on supporting its members with practical tools, strong advocacy, and meaningful connections. From ongoing updates to FrameSAFE, now included with your membership, to the continued growth of member-driven content and engagement opportunities, we are committed to increasing the value of NFC for the framing community.

That value is strengthened through our connection with the Structural Building Components Association (SBCA). Together, we are building stronger relationships between framers, component manufacturers, and suppliers, helping improve communication, coordination, and efficiency from preconstruction through installation. The result is better outcomes for individual businesses and a stronger, more aligned industry overall.

And don’t forget, BCMC & Framer Summit is September 14-18, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio. BCMC continues to bring together component manufacturers, framers, suppliers, and industry leaders, providing valuable opportunities to connect, learn, and do business. It’s a can’t-miss event for both attendees and exhibitors, and we can’t wait to see you there!

NFC membership is both a chance to learn and a responsibility to give back. The more we stay engaged, share our experience, and support one another, the stronger our businesses and our industry become.
Thank you again for your continued involvement and for being part of the National Framers Council.

Sincerely,

Geris Kraus
President, National Framers Council (NFC)
