2026 Dues Letter from the SBCA President
May 4, 2026

Dear SBCA Member,
On behalf of the Structural Building Components Association (SBCA), thank you for being a valued member of this organization. Your involvement in this member-driven association strengthens your business, supports the structural building components industry, and contributes to the broader construction sector.
Today, we are asking you to renew your membership for the upcoming year and continue your investment in our efforts to grow and improve our industry as we seek to increase market share for our industry’s products and services, helping meet broader construction needs.
As an SBCA member, you have access to a wide range of technical resources, education, and industry insights designed to support your day-to-day operations and long-term growth, from the shop to the office to the jobsite. The SBCA Knowledge Center continues to grow as a centralized hub of industry resources, providing technical documents, research, and guidance to support decision-making across design, manufacturing, and installation.
Membership benefits also include continued advancements in industry best practices through resources like BCSI-2025, available in print and digital versions. BCSI remains a critical tool for the safe handling, installation, restraining, and bracing of structural building components. When paired with Jobsite Packages, these tools help improve communication and consistency on the jobsite and support better project outcomes.
Through industry-leading programs like Digital QC, available to members at no additional cost, SBCA is committed to providing up-to-date, relevant tools to help your business thrive. With the ability to gather meaningful data quickly and easily, this robust program supports the development of a strong in-plant quality control culture, helping teams operate more efficiently and consistently.
This industry is continually evolving and innovating. Through SBCA programs, initiatives like the SBCA Innovation Grant help bring those ideas to life, creating practical solutions that strengthen operations and open new opportunities for growth.
SBCA also provides timely information to help members stay ahead of changes impacting their businesses. Through SBCA Magazine, weekly Industry News, and the Component Connection podcast, members gain access to insights, updates, and perspectives from across the industry that support informed decision-making.
SBCA continues to advocate on behalf of the structural building components industry at both the national and local levels. In 2025, these efforts expanded through a Legislative Fly-In, engaging directly with policymakers to represent industry priorities. With the launch of the SBC PAC and continued outreach to policymakers and organizations, SBCA is strengthening its role in shaping decisions that impact component manufacturers and the broader construction and structural building components sector.
Another way SBCA is supporting the industry is through the SBCA Foundation. The Foundation advances the industry through workforce development initiatives, educational support, and charitable efforts that help strengthen the pipeline of talent and provide resources that benefit the industry as a whole.
Collaboration across the industry remains a priority. Through ongoing work with external organizations such as the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the National Council of Structural Engineers Association, Habitat for Humanity, and Operation Finally Home, in addition to the National Framers Council (NFC), SBCA is strengthening relationships between the broader construction industry, policymakers, component manufacturers, and framers, improving communication, coordination, and overall project outcomes within the structural building components world.
And don’t forget, BCMC is happening September 14-18, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio. BCMC continues to bring together component manufacturers, framers, suppliers, and industry leaders, providing valuable opportunities to connect, learn, and do business. It’s a can’t-miss event for both attendees and exhibitors, and we can’t wait to see you there!
The strength of SBCA lies in the engagement of its members. Continued participation supports a strong, unified voice for the structural building components industry.
Thank you again for your continued membership and support. Together, we are building a stronger future for our industry.
Sincerely,

Larry Dix II
President, Structural Building Components Association (SBCA)
