One of the three pillars of SBCA’s multi-year strategic plan is to foster innovation in the component manufacturing industry. To further that goal, SBCA is excited to announce it will host a 13-day tour across Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and Ireland, showcasing industry-leading automation, offsite construction, and component manufacturing advancements in Europe.

The $500 deposit reserves your spot on the tour and helps cover logistical expenses for travel between tour locations. Participants are responsible for booking their own flights, hotels, and any local transportation like taxis or airport transfers. We structure it this way because, on our last tour, many attendees combined the trip with vacation or other work travel—it gave everyone maximum flexibility.

Think of this as a plug-and-play experience. We’ll coordinate and guide the tours, making everything run smoothly along the way, while you handle the travel details that work best for you. We’ll also share a list of the hotels where our staff will be staying so you can stay nearby if you’d like, but reservations are up to you.

From April 12–24, 2026, component manufacturer members are encouraged to join SBCA for a “choose your own adventure” experience. You can participate in the full tour across all five countries, or select individual stops that best fit your schedule and business goals. Whether you join us for one country or the entire trip, you’ll gain valuable insights into:

  • Facilities leading the way in robotic truss manufacturing, wall and floor cassette automation, and offsite construction.
  • European homebuilders and manufacturers integrating closed wall panels, advanced machinery, and robotics into their processes.
  • How European markets are approaching offsite solutions, sustainable building practices, and factory automation.

Associate members will be subject to host facility approval prior to entry.
