Step inside Rafters and Walls, LLC for a firsthand look at its manufacturing operation and the JAX system in action. Attendees will tour the facility, see how technology is being incorporated into the production environment, and hear directly from the team about its approach to improving processes and operations.

    Abby Yoder of Stark Truss shares her journey from truss design into sales and how her technical background became an advantage in working with customers, solving problems, and understanding the business. Attendees will explore the value of cross-functional experience and how a foundation in design can prepare employees for successful careers in sales and leadership.

Marketing a component manufacturing business happens in more ways—and through more people—than we often realize. This session will explore opportunities for companies to strengthen how they communicate their value, build their reputation, and connect with customers and their communities. From everyday interactions to more intentional marketing efforts, attendees will consider how people throughout an organization can play a role in how their company is represented and perceived. 

9:30-10:30a – Putting AI to Work  

AI can do far more than generate emails and summarize documents. This session will explore how component manufacturers can begin using AI to support real business processes and workflows. Attendees will see examples of practical applications while considering important factors such as security, implementation, collaboration, and identifying the right opportunities for AI within their organizations. 

10:30-10:45a - Break
10:45-11:45a – Putting AI to Work: The Workshop  

Take the concepts from the previous session and put them into practice. This interactive workshop will walk attendees through building and adapting AI tools for real-world business needs. Through practical examples and guided activities, attendees will explore how AI can be used to streamline workflows, organize and analyze information, and create tools that teams can use and collaborate around.

12:30 - 1:30p - Economic Forecast: What’s Ahead with Chris Beard

What economic trends could shape the component manufacturing industry in the months ahead? This session will examine the current economic landscape and key factors influencing construction, housing, and the broader business environment. Attendees will gain perspective on emerging trends, potential challenges, and opportunities to consider as they plan for what’s next.
