Brewing Knowledge. Building Connections.

The Structural Building Components Association (SBCA) is proud to launch SBCA Component Craft – a new regional symposium series designed for those shaping the built environment. Our first stop: Austin, TX, February 2026.

Set in the relaxed atmosphere of a local craft brewery, SBCA Component Craft brings together architects, engineers, code officials, and building designers to explore structural components – roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall panels – through the lens of technical education, real-world application, and meaningful industry dialogue.

We're Looking for Dynamic Speakers

SBCA is seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and engaging presenters to deliver prepared education sessions on topics that cover a broad range of technical and practical areas. Speakers will be matched with a subject that aligns with their expertise and interests and work closely with SBCA to collaboratively develop the session.

If you’re a strong communicator with a desire to educate your peers and help shape the future of the structural building industry, we want to hear from you. Are you concerned about your public speaking abilities? SBCA will offer opportunities to develop and enhance your efforts.

Noteworthy Information

  • Speakers must be willing to commit to multiple SBCA Component Craft events
  • SBCA will offer travel stipends
