The National Framers Council (NFC) is proud to announce that FrameSAFE 5.0, the latest version of the industry’s only comprehensive jobsite safety program created by and for professional framers, officially launched and is available as of November 17, 2025. Along with this major update comes a brand-new online portal designed to make it faster and easier than ever for NFC members to create and customize their own safety manuals.

FrameSAFE gives framing contractors everything they need to build and maintain a strong, consistent safety culture across every crew and jobsite. Each manual is tailored to your company and project needs, and includes a customized PDF Safety Manual Template, plus English and Spanish toolbox talks and safety posters on corresponding topics, all ready to use in the field.
The new FrameSAFE 5.0 manual builds on version 4.1 with significant updates and expanded content, including:
- 20 new toolbox talks and 10 new safety posters (available in both 8.5x11 and 11x17 sizes)
- Updated guidance that reflects the latest OSHA requirements, including new rules on personal protective equipment (PPE) proper fit
- Additional revisions throughout the manual to keep your safety practices current and compliant
Best of all, FrameSAFE is now FREE for NFC members, offering more value to your membership benefits.
NEW Online FrameSAFE Portal is LIVE: Build a Manual for Every Job
With FrameSAFE 5.0, NFC launched a new online portal that allows members to generate and download a new safety manual each time they start a project. The portal quickly and easily walks you through the setup process, helping ensure that every manual is specific to your jobsite.
Each year, FrameSAFE will be refreshed with a new version that reflects the latest best practices and safety standards. The year of the version will be clearly marked on each manual and members will need to download the new version annually to stay up to date.
Safety is never static, and neither is FrameSAFE. In addition to the annual release, quarterly updates will be made throughout the year. These smaller revisions will be posted as addendums to the manual, ensuring members always have access to the most current information. At the end of each year, those updates will be consolidated into the next version of the program. This allows incremental improvements to FrameSAFE throughout the year to help you keep your crews safe.
