SBCA Honors Dinner

A Memorable Evening

The industry came together for great food and company, and to celebrate the industry and those who help make it thrive.

The industry gathered for a special evening during BCMC week for the SBCA Honors Dinner at the Durham Museum in Omaha, NE. A historic train-station-turned-museum; the elegant setting provided the perfect backdrop to recognize outstanding achievements across the industry and within SBCA.

A happy hour which involved the ability to walk around the museum and check out the exhibits kicked off the evening, and was followed by dinner with Jess Lohse, SBCA Executive Director, providing updates on the accomplishments of the association over the last year. Most importantly, the SBCA Industry Awards were presented and celebrated with so many deserving people being named recipients of each award.

Several departing leadership members were recognized as well with a special thank-you to Rick Parrino, with Lumber Specialties, who has served on the SBCA Board since 2001; Scott Ward, with Southern Components, Inc., who has served on the SBCA Board since 2005; and Executive Committee members Gene Frogale, with Blue Ocean Development, and Greg Griggs, with Builders FirstSource, for their years of dedication and leadership.
