Innovation starts with conversation—and sometimes the smallest ideas can spark the biggest changes. Whether it’s a subtle process tweak that saves time or a bold leap into automation, innovation in component manufacturing takes many forms. To foster those ideas and bring them to the surface, SBCA is launching a new virtual roundtable series focused on the future of our industry. These peer-to-peer discussions are meant to explore what innovation looks like today, what it could look like tomorrow, and how even incremental improvements can lead to disruptive transformation over time.

Innovation means different things to different people, and in the area of component manufacturing, innovation can constitute anything that can speed up a process, increase an output, or alleviate a design or production pain point. When SBCA adopted its current strategic plan two years ago, it placed a significant emphasis on undertaking activities that would drive innovation in component manufacturing.

In support of that endeavor, SBCA is planning to host periodic conversations aimed at identifying and defining innovation. Join us as we host the first in a series of virtual roundtables on Thursday, June 26th, at 2pm Central, meant to bring peers together to talk about the innovations they would like to see in their operations today, tomorrow, and ten years into the future.
