SBCA Staff Ramps up with Three New Hires

Ashley Baker

Ashley Baker has joined the SBCA staff as Director of Education, a position SBCA is pleased to add to its evolving team. Ashley comes to the association with a diverse background in the public education and medical sectors, in addition to experience in real estate, where she learned the framework for many concepts and general industry insight. As SBCA’s Director of Education, Ashley states, “It is my goal to build upon the immense value that our current training programs offer. My intention is to enhance our offerings with updated content, a microlearning platform, and streamlined training programs.” Ashley is excited to interact with SBCA members and build strong relationships as she develops live and recorded education content for the industry. Nikki Hilton

Nikki Hilton recently joined the SBCA staff as the Executive Assistant/Receptionist to the Executive Director, Jess Lohse. She will be the first point of contact for members to get in contact with Jess and other staff members. Nikki brings a fresh and positive energy with over five years of experience working directly with executives in the accounting, business management, and entertainment industries. Nikki’s attention to detail and adaptability will contribute to the success of both the staff team and SBCA members. “Being a part of a trade association is important because it allows you to contribute to the advancement and growth of the whole industry,” says Nikki. “I am excited to begin my journey with SBCA and am looking forward to engaging with members by facilitating connections, listening to their needs, and adding value to their membership experience.” Nikki can be reached at nhilton@sbcacomponents.com.  

Shannon Ambelang

Shannon Ambelang joined the SBCA staff earlier this year to fill the role of Software Support Specialist. Shannon possesses over 20 years of customer service experience, in addition to a vast span of technical knowledge and a passion for helping people. “I’m looking forward to providing the knowledge and resources to help promote the common interest of our members,” says Shannon. “I’m excited to make new connections, in an effort to collaboratively improve the building components industry.” Shannon hopes to be a great reference for our members so that they feel confident in using SBCA’s Digital QC software.
