Simpson Strong-Tie has broken ground on a new facility in Fulton, Mo., investing more than $19 million and adding 24 new jobs to the area. The company’s new facility will bring together its equipment solutions business, including Monet DeSauw saws, EasyFrame automated marking systems, and truss fabrication equipment.

“Simpson Strong-Tie’s investment in Callaway County is another clear sign that Missouri is open for business and ready to compete,” said Governor Mike Kehoe. “Companies are choosing Missouri because of our strong workforce, central location, and commitment to moving at the speed of business. We’re proud to welcome this new facility and the opportunities it will create for Missourians, and we appreciate Simpson Strong-Tie’s confidence in our state as a place to invest, grow, and succeed.”

Building on the company’s established manufacturing presence in Fulton, the new Simpson Strong-Tie facility will consolidate its equipment solutions operations into a single location. The consolidation will enhance the company’s ability to innovate, manufacture, and support equipment solutions that help customers improve productivity, efficiency, and quality while supporting the evolving needs of the businesses.

“This project reflects the dedication of our Fulton team and the strong relationships we’ve built with our customers and community,” said Nick Algya, Senior Vice President, Southeast Region for Simpson Strong-Tie. “By bringing our people and expertise together, we’ll be better positioned to respond to customers, collaborate across teams, and support the continued growth of the component manufacturing industry.”

“We’re excited to see Simpson Strong-Tie growing its presence in Missouri,” said Michelle Hataway, Director of the Department of Economic Development. “This nearly $20 million investment and 24 new jobs will create meaningful opportunities for Missourians while strengthening the Callaway County community. We’re grateful to Simpson Strong-Tie for its continued confidence in our state and to our local partners whose collaboration helped make this project possible.”

For this expansion, Simpson Strong-Tie will benefit from the Missouri Works Program, a tool that helps companies expand and retain workers by providing access to capital through withholdings or tax credits for job creation, subject to verification of program requirements.
