True House, Inc., a member of the BeLit family of companies and a leader in offsite construction solutions for volume homebuilders, is pleased to announce the promotion of Joey Rolon to Director of Operations, effective January 2026. Having previously served as BeLit’s Director of Manufacturing Technology, Joey brings nearly two decades of deep technical, operational, and process‑driven experience to his new role overseeing operations at True House’s three manufacturing facilities.
Joey’s career began in 2005 with Robuck Homes in Raleigh, NC, where he started as an AutoCAD technician drafting residential plans. His strong aptitude for technology quickly set him apart and his responsibilities expanded into IT support, estimating, and systems management. By 2012, he had advanced to Director of Information Systems, overseeing purchasing, estimating, and the technical systems that supported production.
In 2021, Robuck Homes launched Service Offsite Solutions (SOS), and Joey transitioned into the offsite construction environment as their Director of Information Technology. As he led their implementation of a Swedish manufacturing system, he quickly became proficient at PLC programming to optimize equipment performance and increase production throughput.
When BeLit acquired SOS in 2023, Joey’s hybrid skill set in technology, manufacturing, and process implementation made him a natural fit as their Director of Manufacturing Technology, expanding his support of the North Carolina plant to include the company’s two True House locations in Florida. In that role, he successfully improved efficiencies, enhanced communication between key pieces of equipment, and developed custom tools and workflow enhancements that allowed the facilities to produce more without increasing labor demands.
“My career has always been about identifying problems, building solutions, and making the work easier for the people who do it every day,” said Joey. “Each step has given me a deeper understanding of how processes, equipment, and people work together.”
Joey’s promotion to Director of Operations at True House is an obvious result of his professional experience and success over the past 20 years, as he now oversees both the technology and the people who interact with it. He continues to be focused on refining processes, leveraging data, and maximizing throughput, all while keeping the daily experience of his team members top of mind.
“I couldn’t be more excited to see Joey step into this new role,” said True House Vice President Parker Dixon. “He has consistently demonstrated a rare combination of deep technical expertise, strong operational ownership, and an unwavering work ethic. His commitment to delivering results for our customers while supporting and elevating our teams has been a key driver of our growth.”
“What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to pair my background in technology with operational leadership,” said Joey. “We have incredible talent at True House and across the broader BeLit organization, and when we collaborate, we’re able to create smarter systems, better processes, and more opportunities for our people. There’s so much potential ahead, and I’m grateful for the chance to help move it forward.”
Joey’s proactive approach exemplifies the company’s focus on teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement. He has already implemented changes that reduce unnecessary steps, streamline workflows, and provide clearer system feedback, all to the benefit of both productivity and employee experience.
“At BeLit, we believe that the best systems are built around the people who use them, and Joey embodies that philosophy perfectly,” remarked Andy Beasley, BeLit’s Chief Operating Officer. “His promotion reflects his deep commitment to making work easier and more productive for our frontline teams. I’ve seen firsthand his knack for solving complex operational challenges with a focus on teamwork and respect.”
Outside of work, Joey enjoys time with his family, 3D design and printing, teaching his two children about programming, and supporting their activities, which include his son’s competitive American Ninja Warrior training and his daughter’s enthusiasm for martial arts.
True House continues to expand its offsite manufacturing capabilities across the Southeast, including Orlando, northeast Florida, south Georgia, and North Carolina. The company is committed to the integration of engineering, digital modeling, and advanced component production to reduce waste, improve build times, and support homebuilders.
