March Madness has officially come to a close, and the results of the 2026 SBCA March Madness Bracket Challenge are in after an exciting tournament filled with upsets, standout performances, and plenty of bracket shakeups.

The championship games brought the tournament to a close with two decisive outcomes. On the men’s side, Michigan captured the national title with a 69–63 win over UConn, securing its first championship win since 1989. On the women’s side, UCLA made history with a 79–51 victory over South Carolina, earning its first national title.

Heading into these championship games, several brackets were still vying for first place, with only a handful of points separating the leaders and setting up a wide-open finish. It proved to be a tight race to the end.

In the men’s bracket, Nathan Dahl with Northland Truss Systems in Fargo, ND, claimed the top spot with an impressive 171 points, separating himself from a competitive field. Erik Burns delivered a strong showing to finish second with 142 points, while Bob Smith rounded out the top three with 138 points after staying in contention throughout the tournament.
