A-1 Industries, a leading manufacturer of pre-engineered wood trusses, announced today that David Blenker has been promoted to Vice President of Operations, overseeing the talent acquisition and operations of A-1 Industries of Georgia, LLC, in Bainbridge, Georgia. John R. Herring, President and CEO of A-1, said, “David’s expertise and guidance has been instrumental in developing A-1’s new Bainbridge facility, allowing A-1 to continue its commitment to expanding with new products and locations to broaden our base to best serve our customers with new technology, quality and value”.
Before joining A-1 in April 2021, David had a long and notable career with Taurus, a manufacturer of premium handguns for defense, hunting and sporting applications. His tenure encompassed nearly three decades, with over 20 years as Taurus' VP and Chief Financial Officer and the last three years as President/CEO of Taurus Holdings, Inc., which encompasses Taurus USA, Rossi and Heritage Manufacturing product lines.
David’s strong leadership skills and passion for growth and innovation will continue to be instrumental in propelling A-1’s Bainbridge facility forward to a successful future.
