BCMC & Framer Summit 2025 is officially underway at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska (Sept. 29–Oct. 3). For more than 40 years, BCMC has served as the hub of innovation, collaboration, and growth for the structural building component industry. What began as a small machinery show has evolved into one of the premier annual events in construction, where component manufacturers, framers, suppliers, and industry partners gather to share ideas and see the future of building with components firsthand.
With over 1,000 expected in attendance, BCMC & Framer Summit provides a unique opportunity to see how the industry is advancing.
What’s Happening This Week
- Exhibit Hall: More than 130 exhibitors are filling over 71,000 square feet of show floor space with state-of-the-art machinery, software, and tools. Many are showcasing full-scale equipment with live demonstrations, offering attendees a chance to see technology in action.
- Keynote & Economic Forecast: The show continues on Wednesday, October 1st, with Jim Tobin, President and CEO of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), followed by an Economic Forecast from Dr. Scott Anderson, Chief U.S. Economist at BMO on Thursday, October 2nd.
- Education & Roundtables: With more than 20 hours of education, attendees will dive into sessions on artificial intelligence, workplace strategies, jobsite safety, and building information modeling (BIM). Interactive roundtables and panels provide opportunities to exchange ideas directly with peers while connecting and networking.
- Innovation Grant: The 2025 SBCA Innovation Grant recipients will be in Innovation Alley on the show floor. Attendees will vote to determine the SBCA Innovation Grant People’s Choice Innovator, with the winner announced Thursday, October 2, at Industry Celebration.
- Community & Networking: Beyond the sessions and exhibits, the week includes a 5k run/walk, Fellowship Breakfast, Celebrating Women in Construction, happy hours, networking, and the SBCA Honor’s Dinner—all designed to help attendees connect and recharge.
Why It Matters
BCMC & Framer Summit is more than a trade show. It is where innovation, education, and collaboration directly impact how homes and buildings are designed, manufactured, and constructed. BCMC is where business gets done.
For more than four decades, BCMC has been the component industry’s meeting ground, a place where manufacturers and framers gather not only to see new technologies but to discuss strategies, solve challenges, and build lasting partnerships. It is the rare event where competitors collaborate, suppliers and customers learn from each other, and the entire supply chain comes together under one roof.
What sets BCMC apart is its ability to blend hands-on innovation with big-picture perspective. On the show floor, full-scale equipment is operational, giving attendees a chance to see machinery in action rather than in brochures and online. In the classrooms and roundtables, leaders explore critical issues like workforce development, safety, design technology, and economic outlooks that affect every corner of the industry. Together, this mix ensures that what happens at BCMC has a lasting impact, strengthening businesses, raising standards, and pushing the industry forward.
BCMC also reinforces the power of relationships and community. Whether its structured roundtables, dinners, or informal networking on the show floor, the connections made here often spark ideas and partnerships that carry into the year ahead. As a result, BCMC has become a catalyst for growth and innovation, setting the tone for how the industry approaches both challenges and opportunities.
