The Kodiak Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to uplifting local and global communities, raised $650,000 for Veterans Community Project (VCP) at its final annual charity golf tournament. Held at Arrowhead Golf Course in Littleton, Colo., the event brought together QXO employees and industry partners for one last gathering in support of people and communities in need.
The event marks the conclusion of the Kodiak Foundation’s annual charity golf tournament and the foundation itself following QXO’s acquisition of Kodiak Building Partners. Since its launch in 2023, the tournament has raised more than $2.8 million, supporting many nonprofit organizations aligned with the Foundation’s mission.
“This tournament has become a special tradition for the Kodiak family, bringing together our employees, partners and supporters around a shared commitment to giving back,” said Steve Swinney, chairman of the Kodiak Foundation. “Year after year, it has been an opportunity for people across our organization and industry to come together, have some fun and make a difference. We are grateful to everyone who has helped make the tournament such a success over the years.”
VCP, a national nonprofit organization providing tiny-home communities and support services to veterans experiencing homelessness, was selected as the sole beneficiary of the foundation’s final charity golf tournament. The $650,000 raised will sponsor the Great Hall at VCP’s newest community in Dallas, Texas, a central gathering space designed to support the veterans who live there.
“VCP stood out because its work goes beyond providing housing — it gives veterans the support and community they need to build a more stable future,” said Jeff Jones, president of the Kodiak Foundation. “That combination of practical support and human connection is what made VCP such a strong fit for the Foundation, and we’re proud to support the Great Hall as part of its newest community in Dallas.”
While this marks the final Kodiak Foundation charity golf tournament, the foundation leaves behind a legacy of supporting employees and their families, strengthening communities and helping nonprofit organizations make a difference across the country and beyond.
