Six months of 2026 are in the books, and two recurring words used by industry executives to describe the business landscape are “uncertainty” and “volatility.”
Farm and ranch giant Tractor Supply Company recently lowered its full-year sales forecast. The Nashville-based retailer now expects comps to finish in the negative-one-percent-to flat range, down from its previous guidance of positive 4 percent to 6 percent.
Against that backdrop, the latest HBSDealer poll question revealed the majority of readers are familiar with the downward revision.
