PARR, one of the largest building-material suppliers in the nation, announced the opening of its newest Truss manufacturing plant in Lacey, WA. PARR Truss Lacey is the company’s ninth and most automated truss manufacturing plant. The location employs twenty team members focusing on manufacturing floor and roof trusses.

PARR Truss Lacey is a greenfield build that will serve South Puget Sound. This location will allow for expanded regional services with manufactured components. Parr Truss Lacey and Parr Truss Woodinville will operate together to provide customers with efficient project options to minimize wait times.

PARR has grown considerably from its start as a single lumberyard to one of the Pacific Northwest’s most respected brands. Since its inception 94 years ago, PARR has expanded its supplies and solutions beyond lumber to supplying builders with anything they need through five different divisions across 44 locations: PARR Lumber, PARR Design Centers, PARR Windows, PARR Door & Millwork and PARR Truss.

One of PARR’s key initiatives is to expand its company footprint further into the truss manufacturing market. “This new addition will allow us to offer our products and services to a new region of the Pacific Northwest,” said Mike Howell, CEO of PARR.  “As the Total Home Building Source, we are committed to providing builders with everything they need for their projects wherever they are building in the Pacific Northwest.”
