One of the three pillars of SBCA’s multi-year strategic plan is to foster innovation in the component manufacturing industry. To further that goal, SBCA is pleased to announce it will host an eight-day tour of industry-specific innovation in Europe.

From April 11 through April 18, component manufacturer members are encouraged to join SBCA on tours of jobsites in the United Kingdom to understand how Europeans are utilizing offsite manufactured floor systems; visit homebuilders in Germany to understand how they incorporate offsite framing solutions, including closed wall panels; and visit a robotic truss facility in Denmark to see how European component manufacturers are approaching advanced automation.

Register for the European Tour

As part of the tour, SBCA will arrange all the tours, help identify optimal hotel options in each city and provide transportation from preferred hotels to tour locations and provide breakfast and/or lunch on tour days.

Participation in each tour is optional. Individuals can decide if they want to attend every tour or pick and choose which tours they would like to attend. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Europe, as well as transportation from major city to major city between tour locations. Attendees will also be responsible for booking their own hotel accommodations based on SBCA recommendations, and cover the cost of their dinner each night.

If you are interested in participating in the SBCA European innovation tour,  visit the registration page today! There is an initial sign-up deposit of $500 per person.
