SBCA Seeks Canadian Members for Digital QC

SBCA has a new beta version of its Digital QC app available for manufacturers that utilize the Canadian version of MiTek. We're seeking SBCA members that manufacture components based on Canadian manufacturing practices per the TPIC 2019 – Truss Design Procedures and Specifications for Light Metal Plate Connected Wood Trusses and The Canadian Wood Truss Association’s National Quality Standard for Metal Plate Connected Wood Trusses.    

SBCA’s Digital QC is a digital in-plant quality control program that replaces the pencil and expensive vellum paper you have used in the past with a tablet and app. Not only is it faster than the paper and pencil inspection, but it also allows you to gather meaningful data you can quickly access to improve your manufacturing process and the quality of your components. No more showing handwritten notes on a piece of paper to your team who may or may not understand. With Digital QC, anyone can learn from the crisp, clear digital images.
