SRS Distribution announces the acquisitions of LS Building Products and Sider Lumber & Supply. 
SRS Distribution Inc. (“SRS”) announced today that it has acquired Sider Lumber & Supply Co., Inc. (“Sider Lumber” or the “Company”), a wholesale distributor of lumber, decking, roofing, siding, windows & doors, and other complementary building products. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Founded in 1948 and headquartered in Nesconset, NY, Sider Lumber is owned and operated today by Frank and Joe Sider, 2nd and 3rd generation owners. The Company employs a team of 18 people. While Frank plans to retire at closing, Joe will continue to lead the business going forward, ensuring continuity and consistency for customers, suppliers, and employees.

Headquartered in East Peoria, IL, LS was founded in 1950 and is owned and operated today by Troy Reed, Matt Jaeger, and Dan Schumacher. The Company operates 4 distribution locations and 3 production facilities throughout Central Illinois and employs a team of more than 220 people. Troy, Matt, and Dan will continue to lead the business going forward, ensuring continuity and consistency for customers, suppliers, and employees.
