SBCA Quality Bootcamp Comes to Michigan August 18

Strong quality programs do not happen by accident. They are built through consistent processes, practical training, and teams that understand how quality impacts every part of a component manufacturing operation.

On Tuesday, August 18, 2026, SBCA will bring its Quality Bootcamp to Grand Rapids, Michigan, for a FREE one-day training designed to help component manufacturers strengthen their in-plant quality programs. The bootcamp will be held at Stiles Machinery in Grand Rapids, MI. Registration is now open to both SBCA members and non-members, so reserve your spot now.

Designed for quality managers, plant managers, supervisors, inspectors, production personnel, and others involved in manufacturing operations, this training provides practical education focused on quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), industry requirements, and the tools and processes that support successful quality programs.

The Grand Rapids Quality Bootcamp will cover topics including quality programs, TPI and ANSI/TPI 1, model code requirements, quality assurance audits, ANSI/TPI 1 requirements, in-plant QC, QC and QA data management, truss design drawings, ANSI/TPI 1 Chapter 3, and both paper and Digital QC demonstrations.

SBCA will provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks. The day begins with breakfast at 8 a.m., followed by the program start at 9 a.m. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., and the bootcamp will conclude at 5 p.m.

Join SBCA in Grand Rapids to invest in your team, strengthen your quality program, and continue building a culture of quality throughout your operation.
