The Building Center, Inc. (TBC), a building materials supplier based in Pineville, N.C., hasacquiredWillingham and Sons Building Supply and Septic Tank, Inc., located in Newberry, S.C.
The acquisition, per TBC, expands its reach into the Columbia market while extending its presence into 
the Upstate region. For more than 52 years, Willingham and Sons has served builders, remodelers, and homeowners with a full range of building materials, hardware, and septic tank solutions.

Following the acquisition, TBC will now operate 14 locations across North and South Carolina, including three truss manufacturing facilities, two custom millwork operations, and nine full-service lumberyards. The transaction represents the company’s seventh acquisition in the past nine years.
