TTT Level II Individual Seat

Individuals enrolled in seats will have 90-day access to the program.

TTT Level II builds on skills acquired in TTT Level I. Level II covers advanced concepts for math and load development for live, dead, snow, rain and wind loads. Students review truss industry referenced standards like ANSI/TPI 1, ASCE-7 Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures, and the National Design Specification (NDS) for Wood Construction (viewable here or purchaseable here). Students perform calculations, solve problems, review presentations, and respond to interactive quiz questions interspersed throughout the sections. The purpose of the course is to advance the skills of truss technicians in math, load development, building code compliance and to increase familiarity with current industry technical resources.

Upon completion of this course, students will have a better understanding of the principles of wood member design and plate calculations, the application of dead, live, and environmental loads in truss design, advanced load calculations and will be prepared to advance to Level III of the Truss Technician Training. This course is best suited to individuals who have an interest in advancing their career in the truss industry and are interested in an advanced understanding of truss math and load development.
