Editor's Message: Welcome Back to Omaha!
There are So Many Things to Be Proud Of
We’re three quarters through 2025, and BCMC is already here. The excitement is real. The energy is full. We are ready to be back in Omaha and put on a great show.
It’s been an exciting year of growth, success, and engagement across the structural framing industry. This issue of SBCA Magazine highlights many of the efforts and accomplishments driving us forward, and what SBCA has been up to, setting the stage for even more to come.
In the following pages, you’ll find a technical recap that breaks down the latest updates to BCSI, the SBCA Knowledge Center, and important building code changes in 2025. We also cover SBCA’s 2025 Legislative Fly-In in Washington, D.C., where SBCA members made meaningful connections on Capitol Hill and reinforced the importance of advocacy.
This issue also includes an introduction to the 2026 European Industry Tour, a unique opportunity to explore global innovation in structural framing solutions. We also spotlight SBCA’s continued market development initiatives and recap a successful year of Quality Bootcamps and preview what’s planned for 2026.
And of course, the second half of this issue is all about BCMC 2025. From education sessions to exhibitor information and all the exciting activities happening during BCMC week, your official Show Guide has everything you need for the show! With over 120 exhibitors, 70,000+ square feet of show floor space, 15+ hours of education sessions, and ample networking opportunities, this is a must-attend event for anyone wanting to learn more, grow their business, or connect with others in the industry.
As we gear up for BCMC and reflect on how far we’ve come this year, there’s a lot to be proud of—and even more to look forward to. Thank you to everyone who helps make the cogs turn. SBCA appreciates your continued support of the association, BCMC, and this great industry.
I’d love to connect while at BCMC. Feel free to stop me if you see me walking the floor, or reach out to me at cwagner@sbcacomponents.com or 224-236-3724. See you in Omaha!
