HUD Innovation Housing Showcase Days Away: Details Inside

BILLINGS, MT – September 2, 2025 – The Structural Building Components Association (SBCA) is excited to be returning to the National Mall in a matter of days for HUD’s 2025 Innovative Housing Showcase in Washington, D.C. SBCA member company, 84 Lumber, will frame and dry-in a two-story duplex, with each unit being 1,500 square feet, on the National Mall in less than 12 hours to illustrate how efficient offsite manufactured structural components, such as roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall panels, are from a time, material, and labor standpoint. The event will take place Saturday, September 6-Wednesday, September 10^th, with over 20 exhibitors sharing their innovative solutions for the U.S. housing market.

This year’s Showcase, “The American Home Is the American Dream,” will highlight the pride of achieving the American Dream of homeownership and the future of housing innovation. Showcase attendees will have the chance to attend exhibits and expert-led discussions that highlight housing innovations that support affordability and homeownership. In accordance with President Trump's Executive Order celebrating America's 250th Birthday, the Showcase will also feature defining moments in the history of housing.

A family-friendly event, the Showcase is open to the public and draws more than 5,000 attendees, including federal policymakers, industry leaders, and community stakeholders.
