February 9, 2024: Market Strengthens, Lumber on the Move

Justin Binning, Ken Timmins, and Jeff Hoggard with American International Forest Products (AIFP) provide a snapshot of the current lumber market. Lumber is on the move and the market feels solid as prices creep up slightly. Weather is still a potential disruption but with a slow ramp up into the Spring buy. Justin has been with AIFP since 2010 with a focus in Southern Yellow Pine, Ken has been with AIFP since 2017, specializing in Fir species and Jeff has been with AIFP since 2012. All three specialize in high grade lumber for the component manufacturing industry.
