The Structural Building Components Association (SBCA) is excited to share its recent launch of the BCSI Training Modules, a new digital training series designed to accompany the BCSI guide, Building Component Safety Information Guide to Good Practice for Handling, Installing, Restraining and Bracing of Structural Building Components (BCSI-2025). These modules are available exclusively through the SBCA Academy, https://academy.sbcacomponents.com/.
The BCSI Training Modules serve as a companion resource to the full BCSI Guide, highlighting the most critical safety practices while offering a concise and accessible format. Available anytime on any device, the training is ideal for both onboarding new employees and providing ongoing reinforcement of best practices.
“Safety and consistency remain central to our industry,” says Jess Lohse, SBCA Executive Director. “The BCSI Training Modules make it easier than ever for component manufacturers, framers, and designers to align with the BCSI Guide and keep jobsite practices focused on safety and quality.”
The full series of training modules provides affordable access to critical safety content for companies across the supply chain, with complimentary access for anyone who purchases a digital subscription or hard copy of BCSI or for SBCA/NFC members.
Each module follows the structure of BCSI, covering all chapters with an interactive, user-friendly format that reinforces the guide’s official recommendations. These modules emphasize key details and practical applications, strengthening both knowledge and confidence in the field.
Whether on the shop floor, in the office, or on the jobsite, SBCA’s new BCSI Training modules provide the industry with expanded resources to build consistency and reinforce critical safety practices through the BCSI Guide.
The BCSI Training Modules are available exclusively at the SBCA Academy. To learn more or access the training, visit: https://www.sbcacomponents.com/training-programs.
