As part of SBCA’s multi-year strategic plan, one of the association’s core priorities is to foster innovation in the component manufacturing industry. To further this goal, SBCA will host a 13-day European tour from April 12–24, 2026, highlighting advancements in automation, offsite construction, and component manufacturing across Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and Ireland.
This exclusive tour offers component manufacturer members a “choose your own adventure” format. Participants may join the full itinerary across all five countries or select specific stops that align with their schedules and business objectives. At each location, attendees will gain firsthand insight into:
- Facilities leading the way in robotic truss manufacturing, wall and floor cassette automation, and offsite construction.
- European homebuilders and manufacturers adopting closed wall panels, advanced machinery, and robotics.
- How international markets are approaching offsite solutions, sustainable building practices, and factory automation.
A $500 deposit secures participation and supports logistical expenses for group travel to tour locations from preferred hotels in each country. Participants will book their own flights, hotels, and local transfers, offering flexibility for combining the trip with personal or business travel. SBCA staff will provide a list of hotels they will be staying at, should attendees wish to coordinate accommodations.
