Wilson Lumber Company is pleased to announce two operational promotions as the company continues to grow in Alabama’s fastest-growing housing market.
Jesse Whitaker, promoted to Director of Millwork Operations
Wilson Lumber Company recently promoted Jesse Whitaker to Director of Millwork Operations. Jesse joined the Wilson Lumber team in October of 2019 as the Installed Sales Manager bringing 25 years of building materials experience and leadership to the organization. Jesse’s leadership began to make an immediate impact in the business by bringing a standardized and consistent selling model to our installed sales program that has seen record sales growth year over year. Additionally, he was an instrumental part of helping launch the Commercial Multi-Family Turnkey Sales model. In 2021, Jesse joined the Millwork Operations team as the Millwork Division Manager. Under Jesse’s guidance and leadership, the Millwork Operation has seen record setting growth in manufactured goods, operational efficiencies, and facility expansion. Jesse has been married to his college sweetheart Trina for 27 years and they have two grown children Alexis & Mason.
Jackie Crutcher, promoted to Director of Truss Operations
Wilson Lumber Company recently promoted Jackie Crutcher to Director of Truss Operations. Jackie joined Wilson Lumber in November of 2018, leading the start-up of the lumber company’s newest truss division in Westmoreland, Tennessee. His decades long experience in design, sales, and manufacturing has been instrumental in establishing the truss facility from concept to reality at the organization’s first Tennessee location. He now oversees truss manufacturing facilities in multiple states that have experienced tremendous growth and record efficiencies. Under his continued leadership, he will lead Wilson Lumber’s Truss Operations to a projected 28% growth in 2023.
