Wilson Lumber Celebrates “Best Workplace” Awards

Wilson Lumber Company has recently been awarded two “Best Workplace” Certifications. The organization earned the distinction of Alabama’s only 2023 “Best Workplace” certification from the Best Christian Workplace Institute. In addition to this distinguished award, Wilson Lumber was just designated a 2023 “Best Place for Working Parents” by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber Foundation. This marks Wilson Lumber’s second year in a row to receive both distinguished certifications.
For the Best Christian Workplace Certification, 96% of Wilson Lumber employees anonymously evaluated the company on a wide variety of criteria, including healthy communication, uplifting growth, inspirational leadership, teamwork, and several additional areas. Employees acknowledged how Wilson Lumber values work-life balance and how their leaders care for them. Robb Wilson, CEO, spoke to the progress the company has made in recent years, “We are thrilled with the improvements in our Best Workplaces Survey scores. The engagement survey is a constant reminder to us that our people are what matter the most.”
