Community Celebrates Cascade Manufacturing’s 70th Anniversary

For 70 years, Cascade Lumber and Mfg. Company has designed, built, and delivered on their promise to provide well-designed and manufactured components that permit contractors to successfully do their work.

Cascade Lumber and Mfg Co, founded May 19, 1953, is a leading manufacturer of wood and cold-formed steel trusses serving residential, commercial and agricultural markets in the Midwest and beyond. The company has cold-formed steel truss manufacturing facilities in Cascade, IA and Tyler, TX, and wood truss manufacturing facilities in Cascade, IA and Pleasantville, IA. The company’s manufacturing sites are strategically located to provide efficient service and prompt delivery. The company is the nation's largest manufacturer of TrusSteel cold-formed steel trusses and have established themselves as the Midwest's premier source of prefabricated components in residential, commercial, and agricultural construction.

The company’s work experience includes an extensive array of military, religious, healthcare, industrial, and all general commercial structures. Cascade Manufacturing has delivered product to over 40 states and seven countries. They also maintain a full-service lumber yard and home center at its original location in Cascade. In addition, their retail offering includes an interior design center, Monticello Carpet and Interiors in Monticello, IA which specializes in design, sale, and installation of flooring cabinets, countertops, window treatments, as well as various other interior design products. As an additional diversification, in 2007 they founded a wholly owned subsidiary, Infrastructure Technology Solutions (ITS), headquartered in Monticello, IA. ITS is a provider of IT solutions for businesses and K-12 schools, specializing in cloud hosted solutions, help desk management/support, physical security and surveillance, and network design, installation and security.
