Justin Binning and Jeff Hoggard with American International Forest Products (AIFP) provide a snapshot of the current lumber market. Jeff joins the podcast as a special guest and joins Justin in looking at the causes behind the continuing drop in the lumber market. Orders files are catching up, but there may be multiple events that could reverse the current trend including wildfires, transportation logistic challenges, and a surge in buying. Justin has been with AIFP since 2010 with a focus in Southern Yellow Pine and Jeff has been with AIFP since 2012, specializing in Fir species. Both specialize in high grade lumber for the component manufacturing industry.
