Photos: Mississippi State Architecture Students Design Trusses

I had a great time watching the tests of the trusses made by Mississippi State architecture students! They had a $30 budget to get materials to build a truss to span 72", no more than 14" tall, made primarily of wood. The truss with the highest load:weight ratio will win. Some had ratios of 250 or 300, or as low as 4. Some very "creative" designs!
