In 1983, a group of component manufacturers formed the Wood Truss Council of America (WTCA), which was later renamed the Structural Building Components Association (SBCA). As part of SBCA’s celebration of it’s 40-year history it created the video below to document the growth of the structural building components industry and highlight the ways in which SBCA has forged a lasting community of manufacturers. The video contains historical footage, along with excerpts from interviews with several past presidents of the organization.
