SBCA is pleased to announce it has hired three additional direct employees to join executive director Jess Lohse and the rest of the new staff in leading the organization into the future and supporting the association’s membership on a daily basis.

Ali Saladin

Alison (Ali) Saladin is SBCA’s new Director of Events.  While she is new to the component manufacturing industry, she is a certified meeting professional who has been planning events both large and small for over ten years. Ali believes that her first priority is ensuring SBCA’s events, from OQMs to BCMC, meet or exceed the expectations of members to exhibitors alike. “I like to mix it up and flex my creative muscles,” says Ali. “As an event planner, I enjoy seeing the purpose, structure and results of meetings during the day but love getting to know each other outside of the office after the meetings.” Ali can be reached at ali@sbcacomponents.com.

John Arne

John Arne joins SBCA staff as general manager of inspection services.  He has head up SBCRI’s third-party quality assurance program for the past three years and has over 20 years of experience in the engineering field.  John sees his number one priority as helping component manufacturers maintain their high level of product quality through effective and cost-efficient quality control and quality assurance programs. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to continue meeting and working with SBCA members and non-members and helping them get the most out of their QC processes.” John can be reached at john@sbcacomponents.com.

David Kircher

David Kircher is SBCA’s quality assurance inspector auditor, a role his has filled in the structural building component industry for over 26 years.  David stresses his first priority continues to be working alongside component manufacturers as an extension of their team, helping them successfully navigate quality criteria and operational requirements by giving accurate, non-biased compliance feedback. “I look forward to working with a larger segment of the industry and making a positive impact on their businesses through my knowledge and experience,” says David.
